An Advanced Chinese Course Vol.1

Through the combination of Text A and Text B, of intensive reading and extensive reading and of language learning and style learning, the series focuses on the development of students’ reading(both intensive and extensive) and writing skills, teaching various kinds of writing styles, compound sentences, discourses and common figures of speech in a systemic way. The annotations of grammar and explanations of rhetoric knowledge are practical and systematic in this series so as to help students develop a deeper and more holistic feeling and understanding of the Chinese language.
